The Client
Thin clients is the standard hardware required to use the cloud, these devices are low cost devices which utilise very little electricity and require no support as they are classed as ‘dumb terminals’. They have a keyboard, mouse and USB ports just like standard PC’s!
The devices are simple to manage remotely and are ready to go out of the box and because there are no moving parts (hard drives) they tend to last much longer than a standard PC.
In addition, because there is no data stored on the thin clients, there is no need for security, anti-virus, updates.
